Sharing Data: We share data collected via our website only with Calendly (for scheduling) and Pipedrive (for customer relationship management), for specific operational purposes. This data remains within the European Economic Area (EEA) and is not transferred outside of it.

Retention Period: Data collected via our website is stored for a maximum of 24 months. If you would like your data to be deleted or anonymized sooner, you can submit a request via [email protected].

Whether you are already a customer or just considering using our screening services, we want to provide you with information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you interact with PESCHECK. For conducting screenings such as background checks, ID verifications, criminal records and validation requests and more, we collect and process various categories of personal data. Depending on the type of screening, this may also include special categories of personal data:

  • CV Information: Full Name, address, gender, work and education history, email address.
  • Identity Information: Copies of identity documents (e.g., passport, ID card, driver’s license), passport number, nationality, date and place of birth.
  • Criminal Record Check: Any criminal background check or certificate of conduct (e.g., police clearance certificate, criminal record check, or certificate of good conduct).
  • Work and Education Verification: Details about your work and education history, including remarks from previous employers.
  • Financial Information: Data from the guardianship register, insolvency register, creditworthiness score, and information from bailiffs and collection agencies.
  • Integrity Statement: Information about financial obligations, side jobs, previous bankruptcies, criminal proceedings, and circumstances that may question integrity or reliability.
  • Online Sources: Profiles on social media, news articles, and other public sources.
  • Address Check: Verification of current or previous residential addresses.

Legal Basis: This data is processed based on your consent and the legitimate interests of the client (e.g., an employer or employment agency acting as the data controller). You have the right to object to this processing if you wish.

Access to Data: Only PESCHECK employees involved in the screening process have access to your data. For specific parts of the screening, we share only the necessary data with carefully selected subprocessors or directly with the data sources themselves (e.g., a previous employer, educational institutions, etc.). Retention Period: Your data is retained for a maximum of 24 months. In some cases, this period may be extended, for example, due to legal obligations or at the request of the client. All personal data we process as the data controller with regards to our screening services will be deleted within 60 days after the completion of the assignment.
