Where screening fits in a Nibelis workflow
In Nibelis, a new employee is created in the HR and payroll system as part of onboarding, before the first payroll run. That is the natural moment for a background check: the contract is agreed, and identity, diplomas, references or a criminal record extract still need to be verified before the start date. For roles in finance, security or with access to sensitive data, current employees can be re-screened from the same record.
Without an integration, HR copies the employee's name, email address and job title into a separate screening tool and keeps track of the outcome by hand. With the integration, the screening starts from the employee who is already in Nibelis.
