Where screening fits in an Officient workflow
Officient is an HR system rather than an applicant tracking system, so the person you screen is usually someone who has just been hired or is already employed. A background check fits at onboarding: once the new hire is added to Officient and before the first working day or before they get access to sensitive systems. For roles in finance, security or with access to confidential data, it can also be part of periodic re-screening of existing employees.
Without an integration, HR retypes the employee's name, email address and role into a separate screening tool and keeps track of the outcome by hand. With the integration, the screening starts from the employee record that is already in Officient.

Pescheck connects with Officient through Kombo, an integration platform for HR software that many HR tech vendors use. Your Officient admin authorises the connection once. In Pescheck you choose which checks belong to which roles, for example ID, criminal record, diplomas, references or employment history, and our integration team helps you match this to your Officient setup.
