Where screening fits in a BITE workflow
In the BITE Bewerbermanager, candidates move through the stages and processes your team has set up per vacancy, from application and review to interviews and offer. A background check usually comes late: once you have a preferred candidate, before the contract is signed or before the first working day. For roles in finance, security, care or with access to sensitive data, a certificate of conduct (Führungszeugnis), verified identity or references are often required.
Without an integration, HR retypes the candidate's details into a separate tool and checks back later to see whether the screening is done. With the integration, the check starts from the candidate who is already in BITE.

Pescheck connects with BITE through Kombo, an integration platform for HR and recruiting software. Your BITE admin authorises the connection once; API access depends on your BITE plan. You choose which checks belong to which roles in Pescheck, and our integration team helps you map this to your BITE setup.
