Where screening fits in a Zoho People workflow
In Zoho People, onboarding workflows guide a new hire from signed offer letter to first working day. A background check fits naturally into that flow: after the offer is accepted and before the person gets access to systems, customers or money. For roles with more responsibility, HR can also re-screen existing employees, for example after a move into finance, management or a role with access to personal data.
Without an integration, HR copies names and email addresses into a separate screening tool and tracks the outcome by hand. With the integration, the screening starts from the person who is already in Zoho People.
