Where screening fits in an Insperity workflow
For companies on Insperity, the employee record and onboarding data live in Insperity's platform. A background check fits once a new hire is added and before their first working day, or when existing employees move into roles that require a fresh check. For US companies with staff or new hires in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe, local checks such as a Dutch VOG need a European screening partner.
Without an integration, HR re-enters the employee's details into a separate screening tool. With the integration, the screening starts from the record that is already in Insperity.
How the connection works
Pescheck connects with Insperity through Kombo, an integration platform for HR software used by many HR tech vendors. Your Insperity admin authorises the connection once. In Pescheck you choose which checks apply to which roles, such as identity, employment history, references, criminal record, PEP and sanctions or credit checks, and our integration team helps you map this to your setup.

Yes. Insperity runs your US HR and benefits; for new hires in the Netherlands or elsewhere in Europe, Pescheck runs the local checks. Through Kombo, the employee record in Insperity comes over into Pescheck, so nobody rekeys it.
US background checks do not cover European records. A Dutch VOG, for example, is issued by the Dutch Ministry of Justice and needs the person's own application. Pescheck handles that next to identity, employment history, references, PEP and sanctions and credit checks.
Once the new hire is in Insperity, they come over into Pescheck, where you choose the package and follow progress. Insperity shows a status only as far as its API allows.
Yes. When someone takes on a role with financial responsibility or access to sensitive data, you start a new check from their record. Packages are set per role in Pescheck, with help from our integration team.
Yes. Pescheck receives name, email and job title only. The employee consents in Pescheck, and ID scans, diplomas and certificates of conduct stay in Pescheck's ISO 27001 certified environment, separate from Insperity.
